I am able to care for my mother, most of the time is just being a friend. We live together and are good buddies.
During the week I am able to volunteer at serveral places and to study. I volunteer at:
- Habitat for Humanity doing construction of new homes for others. Working with the Habitat staff and volunteers is also a blessing.
- HealthReach Free Clinic as a nurse assistant. Here I am able to serve the hurts and pains of life of others with the love and support of Jesus Christ. I do basic nursing task, but more important listen, laugh and pray with those needing medical assistance.
- Raptor Center as a maintenance handyman. I work mostly alone which is different for me. It is nice to care for the birds, they are so powerful and graceful. Page 4 of the volunteer newsletter is a highlight of some of my work.
